Kosovo Media Institute in cooperation with the EU Perspective in Kosovo project (EUPK), funded by the European Commission Liaison Office in Kosovo will be launching a new weekly radio programme in Albanian and Serbian.
Evropa tani në Kosovë/Evropa sada u Kosovu will be a 5 minute programme dealing with the work of the European Commission Liaison Office in Kosovo, its impact on ordinary people and, in turn therefore, the progress of Kosovo towards EU membership. The programme will be downloadable from the KMI website every Friday in respective languages. The plan is to make 70 editions between 2011 and 2012 in and bradcast the same in 33 radio stations in Kosovo.
Kosovo journalists will be able to contribute by providing us with stories and other material. Trainings and informative sessions will take place in different regions in Kosovo. This training will include an explanation of the project, its aims, and the technical knowledge needed to get the material on the air.
